Acoustics in the IES

Our members in acoustics champion the importance of holistic solutions to environmental health challenges, informed by close connections with our communities working in local government, air quality, and other specialisms.

We create modern, innovative and shared solutions developed jointly by consultants and local authority noise experts. The IES provides the secretariat for the Sound, Noise & Vibration Forum, which brings together leading acoustics organisations to discuss hot topics and advocate for ambitious noise policy.
